Earring Care & FAQ’s
Is polymer clay durable?
Polymer clay is relatively durable and when cured properly will be bendable. Please don’t try this though! When the earrings get warm, you will be able to feel them bend and when it gets cold, they will feel stiffer. This is completely normal.
How do I clean my earrings?
You can clean your earrings with a damp cloth.
My brass is starting to tarnish!
That is the nature of brass, boo. If you notice your brass tarnishing, you can wash the whole earring in warm water with a little bit of soap. Use your fingers to gently rub the brass. Rinse and completely dry, as water spots remain on brass.
All pieces containing a significant amount of brass will be sent with a polishing cloth. Use this to restore some shine.
What types of metal do you use in your earrings?
All of my earrings are nickel free. Some may be brass based, but covered with gold plating. The studs have a stainless steel base, and if gold, they are simply gold plated. All charms are brass and all jump rings are gold plated stainless steel.
Do you do custom orders?
Maybe? Send me a message and I will see what I can do!
I have a difficult time wearing studs. Can you add a hook?
If you find a pair of earrings that you like, but it is difficult to put on or wear, please let me know if you would like me to add a hook instead. Simply send a message when you order and I will accommodate.
